In August of 1994 a little boy named Wyatt and a little girl named Jennifer started their first day of 2nd grade at a new school. Jennifer was instantly approached by one of her new friends and was told a boy named Wyatt in their class liked her. That is when it all started!
Wyatt and I have known each other for nearly 20 years. We were in the same class from 2nd to 6th grade and always remained close. After 6th grade, we did not see too much of each other. We went to different middle schools and high schools, but one day of our Junior Year in high school we reconnected. It was so nice to be able to spend time with Wyatt and get to know each other as young adults. We dated our entire Senior Year of high school and we were definitely one another's first love. After our Senior Year ended we both decided to go our separate ways. I was traveling to South America for the summer and at that point in our lives we both did not know what we wanted, so we decided to end our relationship. It was heartbreaking, but we stayed friends because we were exactly that, best friends. After the years went on we tried to stay in touch, but we were involved in our own lives and new relationships, we did not hear much from one another. In summer of 2010 we slowly started becoming close again. Our relationship as friends always came first so we stayed friends for awhile before we realized we started to develop those old feelings again. We fell in love all over again, and this time stronger than before. I knew that I could not live without him and he felt the same way about me. Wyatt is my best and oldest friend, he is my confidant, and the person who Heavenly Father has placed in my life to love and live with for time and all eternity. He is the most kind hearted, patient, spiritual, intelligent, funny, loving, and understanding man I have ever known. He has taught me so much about life and we continue to help each other grow each and every day. We were married for time on September 24, 2011 and will be sealed in the California, San Diego Temple Summer 2012.
