My Little Sweet Pea

Hello my dearest little girl,
We are only 2 months away from your arrival and I cannot believe how fast the time has passed. On Friday Daddy, Me, La La, Grandma Jill, and Grandpa Mark (what you will call him is still being decided) all went to see you for the 3D ultrasound. It was such a fun experience, and when I say fun I mean, FUN. You will understand as you grow up in this family. haha. Well little one, you were so snuggled up against me (which believe me, I LOVE) but during the ultrasound we were not able to get a good view of you. There was a lot of placenta in front of you so the tech suggested I get up and move. Grandpa Mark put on some music, Grandma Jill and La La got up and started dancing, it was so funny! So naturally I got up and started dancing since I was the one that needed to move. Your daddy was so surprised we were dancing in the ultrasound room he got it on video!(You will have to watch it some day!) After some dancing, you still stayed snuggled up, so we didn't get to see much, but of what we did see we love and you are SO BEAUTIFUL. You already have round cheeks, (Kind of like your mommy!) and you seem to have your daddy's beautiful eyes. Your lips are so cute and full. They better be used to give us lots of kisses! We can not wait to meet you sweet daughter of ours. I feel you more than ever which makes me know you are healthy and developing well. I love you my baby girl,

One Year

It has been exactly one year since my baptism. It is so amazing to reflect back on this past year. I remember June 5, 2011 like it was yesterday. The feelings I had, the support of my family and friends. It was a beautiful day filled with so much love. I would not be who I am today without the gospel in my life and I know it was the best decision I could have made for myself and my family. My number one fan and beautiful husband had my scriptures engraved (totally surprised me- they look so beautiful!) and bought me a book from the LDS bookstore on motherhood to celebrate my one year anniversary (Which I am so excited to read!). Wyatt and I have been preparing to enter the temple and now that I have officially been a member of the Church for a year, it is amazing to know that the time is so near that we can be sealed for time and all eternity. I am so happy I wrote down details in my journal about my baptism day so I can always remember how important this day was and always will be for me.
