Date Days and Date Nights

With about only two weeks away from our baby's arrival, I don't want to wait around killing time and watching the clock tick and tock. Wyatt and I know how important spending quality time together is and right now is the time to "CARPE DIEM" with my sweet husband. A date day or date night does not have to be a night where we blow our bank accounts on expensive restaurants and movies, it can consist of anything that removes us from everything in our daily lives, where we just focus on "us" and enjoy each other. We made a commitment that when our little Christiansen comes, we will take one night every week to do something special. Even if that means staying in and having a date night at home while the baby sleeps, it is the importance of taking the time to nurture our relationship. To spice things up and make things more interesting, I've found such cute ideas on date nights on Pinterest. Some we've tried and some I'm looking forward to experiencing with my Main Squeeze!

Some of our simple dates:

Going to Yodiggity and hanging out by the Temple
Pizza at the Pavilion
Going to Costco eating for cheap and walking around looking at Cool things we cant afford just yet
Staying in and reading something together or doing a fun activity
Going to a movie
Deli Delicious at a quiet park
Service projects together
(for some reason it always feels like a date probably because it makes us happy)
Completing a Puzzle
(Which we haven't done in a really long time)
Cooking Dinner together
Reflecting on our life together
Laying in bed just cuddling and talking about everything and everything that makes us happy

Here are some of the Cute Ideas I've found on Pinterest

I Copied this idea from pinterest too and Wyatt really Likes it. I like it too because not only does it feel good to see reasons why your spouse loves you, but it also makes us think daily of what we appreciate from each other <3
I love you because...

Maternity Pictures

Our Dearest Little Quinn,
Daddy and I are getting so excited and anxious to meet you! I am 36 weeks pregnant which means only one more month to go. You are the size of a watermelon and I feel you all around my belly. The kicks and movements you make are so funny, but sometimes they catch me by surprise. (You're a little Kung-Fu Kicker). The exciting thing is you will officially be full term next week, which means you can be born any day from then and be a healthy little bean. The doctor says you look and sound great! Next week start the exams and we will see just how low you are and if you seem to be coming a little earlier or right on time. I can definitely feel you growing since I am walking the "Waddle" walk these days. A little more pain coming my way and a lot more swelling! As long as your healthy I don't mind one bit :o) It has already been a very hot summer so I'm trying to drink a lot of water for the both of us.I should also focus on eating a lot more leafy greens right now, since we'll both need that blood! Daddy and I love you so much and we keep talking about the fun experiences we are going to have with you. Thank you for already teaching us so much. Today, Daddy and I went out to an Almond Orchard and took some of our own pictures on the tripod. We had a lot of fun playing around with poses and pictures. We love you so much our little sweet pea <3

Love,

Mommy & Daddy
